When you delete a document in Clio Manage, it is moved to Trash rather than removed immediately. Files in Trash no longer appear alongside your other documents, but they can be restored for a limited time. This gives you a chance to recover a file that was deleted by mistake, and lets you permanently remove files you are certain you no longer need.
Important: Files in Trash are permanently deleted after 30 days. Once a file has been permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered.

- In the Actions column, click the more icon (vertical ellipses), and then select Trash.
