Every completed trust account reconciliation produces a report for that reconciliation period. The report is your audit-ready record of the period: it shows the balances you reconciled to, every transaction you matched, and the effect on each client's ledger. You can view the report in Clio Manage or export it as a PDF to use outside Clio.
What a reconciliation report includes
Each report covers one reconciliation period and is available in three tabs:
- Reconciliation summary: The ledger and bank account balances for the period, and the difference between them.
- Transaction details: The transactions for the reconciliation period, broken out as funds in, funds out, bank interest, bank charges, and adjustments. Both cleared and uncleared transactions are included.
- Client ledger details: The effect of the period's transactions on each client's trust ledger.
Reconciliation reports can be accessed in Clio Manage for 10 years, so you keep a full history for audit and compliance purposes.
