With Clio's AI features, you can gain real-time insight into your firm's performance, growth, and financial health, personal and other user metrics, and more. You can describe your general needs to Clio's AI so that it can create an initial Custom Report for you to review and tweak to get the specifics you need.
Generate reports
In the top right, click the Clio icon in your header bar to open the Clio prompt panel. You can also type your question or request in the prompt box at the top of the Today page or from Manage > Reports. Manage AI will prompt you for any missing information to ensure your report is accurate and complete.
- Example query: Generate the productivity by user report for the past month.
- Example query: Tell me about my firm's revenue performance for the past month.
Click the report link that Clio's AI feature generates to view the full details. Make sure to review the relevant fields and calculations pre-selected by Clio's AI, select Columns, Filters, or Groups to re-arrange, filter, or group data, and/or edit your report settings. Refer to Custom Reports in Clio for details.
Monitor personal performance targets
In the top right, click the Clio icon in your header bar to open the Clio prompt panel. You can also type your question or request in the prompt box at the top of the Today page. Query Clio's AI about various personal performance metrics configured in your account settings.
Example queries:
- Billed/unbilled hours: Show me the total hours billed over the past month.
- Non-billable hours: Show my non-billable hours for last week.
- Realisation rate: What is my realisation rate for the last quarter?
- Collection rate: What is the percentage of my billed hours that have been successfully billed and collected in the last quarter?
- Utilisation Rate: What percentage of available hours did I spend on billable work in the last 30 days?
