When you upload files like court notices, scheduling orders, and even handwritten meeting notes, you can use Clio's AI features to extract key dates and events from these files and create events in Clio for you to review.

Extract and schedule events
When you upload a document, Clio's AI features analyze the content to classify the document type. This classification allows the AI to apply the correct logic for extracting dates specific to that document's legal context.
Note: Clio's AI can analyse a wide variety of documents, including court notices, scheduling orders, and handwritten meeting notes, to extract deadlines and events.
Important: AI Scheduling does not currently apply local court rules for counting days when calculating dates. Always check calculated deadlines against official court rules.
