Create activities

In the mobile app, you can create a new activity entry for time or expenses by clicking the icon for the create new menu or by creating a new entry from directly within a matter.

  1. Click the + icon for the create new menu.
  2. Select Time entry or Expense.
  3. Complete the activity entry details.
  4. Click Save.

 

Filter and view activities

You can filter and view time and expense entries for multiple matters in the Activities tab, or you can view time and expense entries for a single matter by viewing the matter's details page. You can filter activities by firm user, matter, date range, activity category, and bill invoice status.

  1. Go to the Activities tab.
  2. Select the filter icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Select your filter parameters and click Done.
  4. Click either the Time entries or Expenses subtab to view the filtered results.

 

Edit activities

You can edit time and expense entries in the Activities tab or from within a matter's details page.

  1. Go to the Activities tab.
  2. Optional: Select the filter icon in the upper right corner to narrow your results.
  3. Click either the Time entries or Expenses subtab to view the filtered results.
  4. Click the activity entry and select Edit.
  5. Make your changes and then click Save.

 

Duplicate activities

You can duplicate time and expense entries in the Activities tab or from within a matter's details page.

  3. Click either the Time entries or Expenses subtab to view the filtered results.
  4. Swipe the activity entry to the right and select Duplicate.
  5. Make any changes and click Save.

 

Delete activities

You can delete time and expense entries in the Activities tab or from within a matter's details page.

  3. Click either the Time entries or Expenses subtab to view the filtered results.
  4. Swipe the activity entry to the right and select Duplicate.
  5. Make any changes and click Save.

 

Start and stop the timer

You can start and stop the timer from any tab in the mobile app. Once started, you can navigate away from the menu or even close the app. The timer will continue to run as you complete your work. When you stop the timer, you can record a new time entry for your work.

If you are using an Apple device, you can also ask Siri to start and stop the timer. If you ask Siri to start the timer, you need to be logged in to the mobile app, but you do not need to have the mobile app open. This allows you to start and stop the timer quickly and hands-free. When you stop the timer, you can record a new time entry for your work.

  1. Click the + icon for the create new menu.
  2. Click Start timer.
    • You can navigate away from the app screen or the mobile app entirely. The timer will continue to run in the background while you complete your work.  
  3. You can stop the timer by clicking Stop timer in the mobile app. Once stopped, complete the associated time entry.
