Analyse Legal Documents in Clio Work

Within Clio Work, the Vincent assistant allows you to quickly extract key information, identify document types, and suggest next steps. These specialised workflows help you gain fast insights into files uploaded from your computer or selected from Clio Manage.

Important: Ensure that a qualified professional conducts final legal confirmation and due diligence on all of Vincent's responses.

Understand Vincent's conversation file limits

When you start a document analysis conversation with Vincent, specific limits apply to ensure the quality and speed of the response.

  • File size: You can upload files up to 1 GB per file.
  • Document count: You can include up to 50 documents in a single conversation.
  • Scanned documents: You must run scanned documents through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software before uploading so that Vincent can read the text.

Manage larger projects with Vincent Tables

Tip: To learn more about managing high-volume reviews, see Compare Documents and Use Vincent Tables in Clio Work.

If your project exceeds the 50-document limit or if you need to extract and compare specific data points across a high volume of files, you should use the Document Review with Vincent Tables workflow. This tool is optimised for large-scale discovery and due diligence, and can process up to 500 documents simultaneously.
