After you create a questionnaire template, you can edit, duplicate, rename, or delete it as needed. These management actions will not impact live questionnaires that are already shared with clients.
Edit questionnaire templates
You can access an existing template at any time to reorganise sections, add new questions, or adjust Display Logic. Changes you make to the template will save automatically.
Important: If you edit a template that has already been shared with a client, you must generate a new link and share it with the client to ensure they receive the updated version.
- Go to Questionnaires and select the Questionnaire Templates subtab.
- Find the template you want to modify, and select Actions > Edit
- In the template editor, you can do the following:
- Add or organise sections: Click New section or drag an existing section to a new location.
- Add or reorder questions: Click New question or drag a question to a new location within or between sections
- Adjust Display Logic: Toggle Display Logic on or off in the Section details panel.
- Once complete, you can share the template.
Perform other management actions
You can use the Actions menu for the following template functions:
Note: Deleting a template does not remove submitted responses that are already saved to a matter.
- Go to Questionnaires and select the Questionnaire Templates subtab.
- Find the template you want to modify.
- Click Actions and select one of the following:
- Duplicate: Create a copy of the template. Enter a new name, then click Duplicate to confirm.
- Rename: Allows you to update the template name. Enter a new name, then click Save.
- Delete: Permanently removes the template. Click Yes, delete to confirm.
