Clio Duo has now evolved into Manage AI, taking things a step further by transforming routine work into completed actions. With Manage AI, you can easily stay on target with your deadlines, get paid faster, allowing you and your team to focus on billable work. All the features you relied on in Clio Duo are still available within Manage AI.

Clio's commitment to your security and firm privacy has not changed from Clio Duo. You can feel confident that:

Depending on where your firm is located, Manage AI may process your queries on servers located outside your home jurisdiction. After your request is processed, any resulting data remains securely stored within your region, in line with Clio’s standard data handling practices.

What's new in Manage AI
Manage AI includes several key upgrades and new functionality:
Manage AI Launchpad
You can now access Manage AI from anywhere in Clio Manage with the new diamond icon. This will open the Launchpad, which highlights the most impactful workflows Manage AI can perform. From the launchpad you can
- schedule events from documents,
- automate bills,
- analyze your documents (formerly Doc Analyzer), and
- ask questions about matters and firm operations (formerly Duo Chat).
AI Action Card
The AI Action Card replaces the former Matter Recommendations section on the matter dashboard. Manage AI expands on this and will surface important actions unique to each matter that can be done to help keep the matter moving forward. Manage AI can suggest actions like
- reviewing events that it captured from documents,
- drafting communications based on your recent matter activity,
- alerting you to new bills that it generated and are ready for your approval, and
- scheduling events based on dates extracted from documents.
What stays the same
You can still leverage the Clio Duo workflows your firm used via Manage AI, including
- analyzing your legal documents using the Document Analyzer,
- ask questions about matters and firm operations, and
- creating tasks, adding billable time, or getting help with drafting document or communications via chat.
