Clio Manage Document Reports

Reports in Clio Manage are designed to help your law firm track deliverables and get insights into all aspects of how the firm is performing. Reports on documents held in Safe Custody are designed to help your law firm understand at a glance all original documents entrusted to the firm. See below for a summary of the report in Clio Manage and what type of information the report offers.

Safe Custody Report

The Safe Custody Report is designed to give firms a detailed breakdown of the documents held in safe custody. The report provides information about dates related to storing and/or removing documents, identifying information about the packets and associated clients, and information related to the documents like name, type, and status.

Document Date

This column lists the physical document date of documents in safe custody.

Date Stored

This column lists the date the document was stored.

Packet no.

This column shows the packet number automatically generate by Clio when you created the packet.

Client

This column shows the client associated with the packet number.

Document Name

This column shows the document name.

Type

This column shows document type.

Status

This column shows the status of the document. Learn about the different statuses for documents in safe custody.

Date Removed

If the document status is Removed, this column shows the date when it was removed. If the document is Held or Temporarily Removed the this column for the line item will be empty.
