Administrators can manage the Clio Work subscription and allocate or deallocate Clio Work licenses to users.
Add Clio Work to your account
Note: Administrators can sign up for Clio Work and assign licenses to firm users.
Firms currently using Clio Manage can try out Clio Work on a 14-day trial.
- From Clio Manage, go to the main Matter tab and select any matter.
- From the matter’s dashboard, find the Clio Work card and click the down arrow to expand it.
- Click Start free trial.
- Agree to the terms of service and click Start my 14-day trial.
- In Clio Manage, click the Manage AI logo in the header bar at the top of your page.
- For Clio Work, click Try for free.
- Agree to the terms of service and click Start my 14-day trial.
- The banner at the top of Clio will remind you how much time is left of your trial.
Allocate or deallocate Clio Work licenses to users
Once you start your Clio Work trial, you can provide access to the users in your Clio account by assigning licenses to them.
Important: At the end of the trial period, users who are still assigned Clio Work licenses will be converted to paid users. Make sure to set a reminder to revise the Clio Work licenses or to cancel your trial before your trial period ends.
- In Clio Manage, go to Settings > Manage Users.
- For the firm user you want to provide access to Clio Work, click the down arrow next to "Edit".
- Click Add to Clio Work.
- In Clio Manage, go to Settings > Manage Users.
- For the firm user you want to provide access to Clio Work, click the down arrow next to "Edit".
- Click Remove from Clio Work.
Opt out of Clio Work
If you do not want to continue using Clio Work beyond your trial period, you will need to opt out before your trial period ends in order to avoid incurring additional costs. Once you opt out and the 14-day trial period is over, you will no longer have access to Clio Work, and your card will not be charged the Clio Work subscription fees.
- In Clio Manage, go to Settings > Account and Payment Info > Payment info subtab.
- In the Clio Work Subscription section, click Cancel trial.
- Click Cancel auto-upgrade to confirm.
