Preserving research output and document drafts ensures your firm retains the work product generated during Vincent AI conversations. This guide covers how to save individual responses, Legal Pad documents, and entire conversations to Clio Manage, your computer, or a shared link.
Save individual responses
You can save a specific response from Vincent using the icons at the bottom of that response.
- Locate the response you want to save in your conversation.
- Select from the following options:
- Copy to clipboard: Select the double page icon to copy the response content.
- Save to Clio Manage: Select the save icon to save the response as a new file in Clio Manage.
- Download: Select the download icon to save the response as a Word document or PDF. Library references are saved along with the file.
- Copy link: Select the link icon to copy a link to the conversation. You can share this link with other Clio users on your firm's account.
Save Legal Pad documents
When Vincent creates a document in Legal Pad, you can save it independently from the conversation.
Tip: To open Legal Pad from an existing conversation, select the edit icon below any response from Vincent. Legal Pad remains part of your conversation — you can close and reopen the panel without losing your work.
- From the Legal Pad panel to the right of your conversation, select the download icon at the top to download the document as a Word document or PDF.
- Optional: Select the more icon (vertical ellipsis) at the top of Legal Pad to copy the content to your clipboard or save a copy to Clio Manage.
Save entire conversations
You can download a full conversation with Vincent as a single document.
- Select the download icon in the top right corner of the conversation window.
- Save the conversation as a Word document.
Provide feedback on responses
Your feedback helps Clio review and improve Vincent's processes.
- Locate the response you want to evaluate.
- Select the thumbs-up or thumbs-down icon below the response.
- If you selected thumbs-down, type feedback explaining why the response was not helpful.
