Use Clio Work From Within Clio Manage

Using Clio Work from within Clio Manage allows you to connect your legal research environment to your firm's matters, contacts, and documents. Vincent can read your full matter context in Clio Manage and take actions within a Vincent conversation. This article covers how to access Clio Work, start Vincent conversations directly from a matter, launch document analysis without leaving Clio Manage, and use Vincent to work with your Clio Manage data.

Access Clio Work

Once your administrator has activated Clio Work and assigned a licence to your account, you can access Clio Work tools like Vincent, Clio Library, Editor (or Draft in some accounts), and Docket.

Access Vincent from a matter

You can start a conversation with Vincent directly from a matter in Clio Manage without first navigating to Clio Work.

From the matter dashboard

1. In Clio Manage, click Matters and select a matter.
2. Select the Clio Work tab from the matter navigation bar to open Clio Work in a new tab with the matter already associated.

From AI Actions

1. In Clio Manage, click Matters and select a matter.
2. In the AI Actions panel, review the suggested actions relevant to your matter.
3. Select a suggested action to open Clio Work in a new tab with the matter and relevant information already associated.

From Recent Vincent conversations

1. In Clio Manage, click Matters and select a matter.
2. In the Recent Vincent conversations section, select a previous conversation to reopen it, or select Open Clio Work to open the Clio Work workspace in a new tab. If you have no conversations yet, select Ask a research question.
