Understand where Clio Work stores your data
If your firm is located in Australia, your Clio account is created on Clio's Australia server by default. Your Clio Work data, including matters, documents, and conversations with Vincent AI, is stored at rest in the same environment as the rest of your Clio account.
Understand how Vincent AI processes your prompts
Clio Work and Vincent AI operate under the same data protections as the rest of Clio. Advanced AI processing depends on specialized infrastructure that is not yet available in every region, including Australia. As a result, generating a response may involve temporary processing outside your account's region. This processing is transient: your firm and client data continues to be stored at rest only in your account's chosen environment, and is not retained after your response is generated.
