Mark leads as added

When you receive a new lead, whether that is through Local Services Ads or another marketing tool, you can add the lead as a new contact or ignore the lead. Learn more about adding and ignoring leads in the Leads tab here. For Local Services Ads, specifically, mark leads as already added to prevent duplicate contacts and matters during intake.

When should I mark a lead as "Already added" instead of "Ignore"?

If there is an existing contact or matter for the Local Services Ad lead, mark it as Already added. You may notice a duplicate Local Services Ads lead if a Quick intake is performed on the lead if they call into your firm. Rather than ignoring the lead, mark it as Already added to ensure that your lead qualified rate and overall Local Services Ads conversion metric remain accurate.

  1. In Clio Grow, go to Leads and then select Marketing.
  2. Select the New leads subtab and find the lead.
  3. Click Remove and then select Already added.
    • This will remove the lead from the table. If you previously added the lead using quick intake, the created contact will not be affected.
Important: Google Local Services Ads reviews all leads and will automatically credit invalid or low-quality leads. Credits are applied to your account within 30 days, and the original lead charge will remain on your invoice. You can submit feedback via the Lead Feedback Survey if you believe the lead is poor quality to ensure your leads are suited to your practice area.

View performance metrics

Once your Local Services Ads profile is set up and leads start coming in, you can track the performance of your ad profile in your Local Services Ads dashboard in Clio Grow. The dashboard allows you to track key actionable metrics such as the overall conversion rate of leads converted into matters and your firm's responsiveness rate to calls received through the ad.
