Clio Duo is designed to support routine legal tasks, such as finding information and providing document summaries. This article explains how you can use Clio Duo to ask about documents and notes, generate summaries, and analyze documents. Clio Duo works within the Global Search bar to help you locate relevant documents connected to your matters and contacts.
Note: A query is the inquiry, request, or command entered in the Clio Duo chat modal. To help you get started, view or download a list of example queries here.

Clio Duo’s Document Analyzer in Clio Manage helps you extract key information from your documents. Analyze up to five PDF or DOCX documents at a time to generate content summaries, timelines and other insights based on your questions. Experiment with different wording and questions if you need to refine the results and get the information you need.
Important: While you can review recent analysis, Clio Duo cannot respond to follow-up questions since the previous chat context is not retained across sessions.
Tip: You can test different requests and give feedback by using the thumbs-up or thumbs-down options provided by Clio Duo. If you select thumbs down, you’ll have the option to provide additional details, helping our team improve your experience.
