In Clio Grow, notes let you record important details, updates, or reminders on a contact or matter, keeping key context visible to you and your team. From the Notes subtab in a contact or matter, you can filter the list by keyword and expand a note to view its full text. This article shows you how to add, edit, duplicate, and delete notes.
Create and manage notes
In Clio Grow you can add, edit, duplicate, and delete notes.
- Go to Contacts or Matters and click a contact's or matter's name.
- Select the Notes subtab.
- Click New note.
- Enter a subject and note body.
- Click Save note.
- Go to Contacts or Matters and click a contact's or matter's name.
- Find the note and in the Actions column, click Edit or click the down arrow and select Edit from the menu.
- Make your changes and click Update note.
- Go to Contacts or Matters and click a contact's or matter's name.
- Find the note and in the Actions column, click Duplicate or click the down arrow and select Duplicate from the menu.
- Make your changes and click Save note.
- Go to Contacts or Matters and click a contact's or matter's name.
- Select the Notes subtab.
- Find the note and in the Actions column, click Delete or click the down arrow and select Delete from the menu.
- Click Delete note to confirm the action.
