Attach dockets to matters

You can attach a court docket to a matter from the matter dashboard in Clio Manage. Once attached, docket updates appear on the matter dashboard so you can track case activity alongside your other matter details.

  1. In Clio Manage, open the relevant matter.
  2. On the matter Dashboard, in the Docket updates section, click Attach a Docket.
  3. Search for a docket using the appropriate search parameters.

Note: If you cannot find the docket you are looking for, click Request Docket at the bottom of the search results.
  4. Use the checkboxes to select the docket(s) from the search results. The modal displays the number of dockets selected and any applicable linking fee(s).

Tip: You can click the docket name to open the full docket detail in a new tab, allowing you to review it before attaching.
  5. Click Attach Docket.

Once a docket is attached, the Docket updates section on the matter dashboard displays the linked case name, the last synced time, and recent case events.
