When configuring your Clio Scheduler settings, you can set up your Firm Scheduler to host multiple appointment types across your firm, customize how Clio Scheduler is displayed to prospective clients, and more.

Note: All settings and appointment setups are done in Clio Grow.

Delete appointment type

  1. Go to Settings > Appointments > Clio Scheduler appointments.
  2. Find the appointment in the My appointment types section.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. When the warning prompt appears, select Delete.

 

Firm booking page

With the firm booking page, you can display multiple firm appointment types on a single webpage using one link. When a client clicks the firm booking page link, they will see all available appointment types for your firm that you added to the firm booking page. Follow the steps below to add appointment types to the firm booking page.

Note: Only administrators can view this section.

  1. Go to Settings > Appointments > Clio Scheduler appointments.
  2. Under Firm booking page click Select appointment types.
  3. Select which appointment types you want your prospective clients to see.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Copy link to add the link to your website.

 

Pause appointment types

Appointment time slots are always available unless you temporarily pause them by unchecking all available days for all appointment types. When you’re ready to accept appointments again, just re-add days and times. An alternative to pausing appointment types is creating an all-day event in your Clio Manage calendar. When you do this, Clio Scheduler prevents appointments from being booked on the day of the all-day event.

  1. Go to Settings > Appointments > Clio Scheduler appointments.
  2. Find the appointment type in the My appointment types section.
  3. Click Edit appointment type.
  4. Open the Basic booking settings section and uncheck all days.
  5. Click Save and Close.

 

Customize appearances

With Clio Scheduler, you can customize the display name that prospective clients see when booking appointments and choose whether you want the appointment link to display your firm logo. If you do not select a display name, appointments will show your Clio Grow username.

  1. Go to Settings > Appointments > Clio Scheduler appointments.
  2. Scroll down to the My appointment types section.
  3. Click Edit display name.
  4. Change the name and click Save display name.

Note: The display name limit is 255 characters.

 

Scheduler for existing clients

Important: Clio Scheduler is designed for prospective clients. Attempting to create an appointment for an existing client can result in duplicate contacts and/or matters.

After creating an appointment type for an existing client, you can share the appointment type link with the existing client and/or add the appointment type to your firm booking page. When your client books an appointment, the appointment will go to your lead inbox for you to confirm it. The icon for the lead inbox is in the Clio Grow header, to the left of Quick Intake.

  1. Go to Settings > Appointments > Clio Scheduler appointments.
  2. Scroll down to the My appointment types section.
  3. Click New appointment type.
  4. Select Add new appointments to lead inbox to allow for a confirmation.
  5. Complete the remaining appointment details.
  6. Click Create.
