Send an intake form
When preparing a form to send to a prospective client, you can add the form to a matter as an individual workflow item or as part of a workflow template grouping.
- Go to the matter's Workflow section.
- Click the dropdown underneath Add to workflow and select Prepare Form.
- Select a form, the matter's contact, and the contact that will complete the form.
- Select Share form link.
- Click Get form link when ready.
- Click Continue To Email.
- Select the email template from the dropdown menu or add your custom message.
- Click Send Email.
- Go to the matter's Workflow section.
- Select the Add a template or email campaign field.
- Choose your workflow grouping. All items in that grouping will appear as items to be completed for the matter.
- Find the form. Click the Options dropdown and select Prepare Form.
- Select the matter's contact.
- Select Share form link.
- Click Get form link when ready.
- Click Continue To Email.
- Select the email template from the dropdown menu or add your custom message.
- Click Send Email.
Send a Quick Form
- Click the down arrow next to the Quick Intake and select Quick Form.
- Select the form template from the dropdown.
- Enter the lead's first and last names and the the matter type and status.
- Choose to Fill out form or Send to client.
- Click Fill out form or Send form.
Set form due date
After preparing and sending an intake form, you can set a due date for the form's completion.
- Go to the matter's Workflow section.
- Find the form.
- Click the Options dropdown and select Set Due Date.
- Select the due date and then click Update Due Date.
Send form reminder
After preparing and sending an intake form, you can send your prospective client an email reminder to complete the intake form.
- Go to Forms.
- Select the Submitted subtab.
- Optional: Click Apply filters to narrow your results.
- Click the form's name to view the form.
- Click the Actions dropdown and select Send Reminder.
- Complete the email body and then click Send Reminder.
View a submitted/pending intake form
You can view an intake form that has been submitted or is pending submission from the main Forms tab or from the matter's page.
- Go to Forms.
- Select either the Pending or Submitted subtabs.
- Optional: Click Apply filters to narrow your results.
- Click the form's name to view the form.
- Go to the matter.
- Select the Files subtab.
- Under Forms, hover over the intake form and select Download to view the form as a downloaded PDF or select View to view the form in your web browser.
Download a completed intake form
You can download PDF copy of a completed intake form from the main Forms tab or from the matter's page.
- Go to Forms.
- Select the Submitted subtab.
- Optional: Click Apply filters to narrow your results.
- Click the form's name to view the form
- Click the Actions dropdown and select Download PDF.
- Go to the matter.
- Select the Files subtab.
- Under Forms, hover over the intake form and select Download.
Delete pending or submitted form
- Go to the matter's Workflow section.
- Find the form.
- Click the Options dropdown and select Delete Form.
- Click Remove Item to confirm.
