Microsoft OneDrive for Business and Clio

Have more questions? Submit a request

Microsoft OneDrive for Business is a file storage and synchronization service that provides you with a place to store and access your documents. Clio’s integration with OneDrive allows you to share, sync, edit, and access your files with ease.

Note: Clio does not support integrations with shared drives or business accounts.

Set up Microsoft OneDrive for Business in Clio

When you set up Clio's integration with Microsoft OneDrive for Business, Clio will automatically create a folder in the root directory of your OneDrive account that contains subfolders for each of your clients and matters. The root folder cannot be moved or renamed. Once documents are uploaded, you can view them in your OneDrive account and under the Microsoft OneDrive section of your Documents tab in Clio.

Important: If you rename a contact or matter folder in OneDrive, Clio Manage will assume the folder in OneDrive is missing and recreate the folder and all of its contents.

Note: Your firm can only connect one account, and only administrators can connect and authenticate this account.
