Manage AI: Generate Reports and Monitor Performance

Manage AI helps you gain real-time insight into your firm's performance and personal metrics. You can use the AI Launchpad to query standard reports or use the Custom Reports feature to start building reports using AI-suggested parameters.

Note: This feature is available to firms with Essentials, Advanced, and Expand subscriptions. If you need to upgrade your firm’s plan, ask a firm administrator. Learn more about your plan's features.

Generate reports

You can query Manage AI via the Ask a Question chat panel or ask questions directly in Custom Reports. Manage AI will prompt you for any missing information to ensure your report is accurate and complete.

AI Launchpad

  1. Access the AI Launchpad by clicking the gem icon in the main navigation bar.
  2. Select Ask a Question.
  3. Ask Manage AI to generate a standard report by providing the report name and time frame.
    • Example query: Generate the productivity by user report for the past month.
    • Example query: Tell me about my firm's revenue performance for the past month.
  4. Click the report link that Manage AI generates to view the full details.

Reports

  1. In Clio Manage, go to the main Reports tab, then select the Reports tab.
  2. Ask about your firm's performance with simple questions to build a report with natural language under the Manage AI gem, and click the Send arrow.
  3. Review the relevant fields and calculations pre-selected by Manage AI.
  4. Optional: Select Columns, Filters, or Groups to re-arrange, filter, or group data.
  5. Optional: Click Edit report settings in the top right to edit your data set and calculations.

 

Monitor personal performance targets

You can query Manage AI about various personal performance metrics configured in your account settings.

  1. Access the AI Launchpad by clicking the Manage AI gem.
  2. Select Ask a Question and enter your query.
  3. Enter a personal metric query. Example queries include:
    • Billed/unbilled hours: Show me the total hours billed over the past month.
    • Non-billable hours: Show my non-billable hours for last week.
    • Realization rate: What is my realization rate for the last quarter?
    • Collection rate: What is the percentage of my billed hours that have been successfully billed and collected in the last quarter?
    • Utilization Rate: What percentage of available hours did I spend on billable work in the last 30 days?
