Supported File Types in Clio Work

Clio Work supports a broad range of file types across Vincent AI workflows, with a maximum file size of 1 GB per file. Since supported file types vary by workflow, you can confirm the correct file type before uploading to ensure Vincent can process your documents accurately and deliver reliable results.

Supported file types

Most workflows support the following file types: .csv, .doc, .docx, .eml, .heic, .htm, .html, .jpeg, .jpg, .json, .m4a, .mkv, .mp3, .mp4, .msg, .odt, .pdf, .png, .pptx, .rtf, .txt, .wav, .xls, .xlsx, .zip.

The following workflows allow fewer file types.

  • Redline Analysis: Supports docx, and .pdf.
  • Tabular Document Review: Supports csv, .doc, .docx, .eml, .heic, .html, .jpeg, .jpg, .json, .msg, .odt, .pdf, .png, .pptx, .txt, .xls, .xlsx, .xml, .zip.

 

File size and duration limits

  • Maximum file size: 1 GB per batch upload.
  • Maximum audio/video duration: 10 hours.

    Note: You may be able to upload files with > 10 hours duration but transcription of the file will cease at 10 hours.

 

Cloud storage sync in Clio Library

You can sync a cloud storage service to search your own documents alongside Clio Library content. Supported services include Dropbox, NetDocuments, Google Drive, and SharePoint and OneDrive. Once synced, your documents appear as a content type in the search filter panel.
