In Clio Manage, you can manage your firm's clients, cases, files, billing, payments, and more. After you sign up, you set up the account that every user at your firm works in. This article covers system requirements, signing up, signing in, and single sign-on (SSO) with Clio Grow.
Tip: Clio Grow is a client intake tool that works alongside Clio Manage. In Clio Grow, you can track leads, intake new clients, and send data to Clio Manage when you are ready to bill and collect payments. Learn more in Navigate Clio Grow.
System requirements
Clio Manage runs in a web browser on a computer or mobile device. Check these requirements before you sign up or sign in.
Internet speed
Clio Manage has no recommended minimum internet speed. A speed below 30 megabits per second (Mbps) can slow screen loading. Generally, a faster connection is better.
Browsers
Clio Manage supports the two most recent versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Internet Explorer and older legacy browsers that fall short of Clio's security requirements are unsupported.
Hardware
To use Clio Manage on a computer or mobile device, you need:

Configure single sign-on
Single sign-on (SSO) lets you use one set of sign-in credentials for both Clio Manage and Clio Grow. SSO applies consistent access control to Clio products and firm data across your user account, which can reduce security risk and account management overhead.
- Usability
One-click sign-in to both Clio Manage and Clio Grow.
- Fewer interruptions
SSO users have longer session times in Clio Grow.
- Enhanced security
SSO combines industry-leading security practices with efficient sign-in. Case and client data stays protected, and the breach risk of common sign-in processes goes down.
Tip: Add another layer of account security by enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) or by setting up SSO to Clio with your identity provider.
Important: Before you can enable SSO, link your accounts using the same sign-in email address for Clio Grow and Clio Manage.
The SSO prompt opens automatically when users sign in to Clio Manage. Users can skip SSO linking up to five times. To keep the accounts separate, change the email address you use to sign in to either Clio Manage or Clio Grow. Save any work in progress before you turn on SSO.
