Lead sources can help you to track how prospective clients find your firm, allowing you to understand the performance of each source and the effectiveness of your marketing efforts. You can also add referral relationships if a contact referred the prospective client.

Create lead sources

Once a lead source is created, you can add it to a contact when creating the contact or when using quick intake. You can also change a contact’s lead source at any time in main Contacts overview page or when viewing a single contact’s page.

  1. Go to Settings > Contacts > Lead Sources.
  2. Click New Source.
  3. Name the lead source.
  4. Click Create Source.

 

Rename lead sources

If you need to update a lead source's name, you can do this by editing the lead source. 

  1. Go to Settings > Contacts > Lead Sources.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Rename the lead source.
  4. Click Create Source.

 

Delete lead sources

If you no longer need a specific lead source, you can delete it from your account. 

  1. Go to Settings > Contacts > Lead Sources.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Click OK.
