Today is the page that opens when you sign in to Clio Manage. It gathers your priorities, your tasks, alerts, and firm activity in one place. Starting each day from a single list keeps overdue work and upcoming deadlines in front of you before they affect your work.
Act on your priorities
The Priorities tab opens by default and groups your work into Top priority and Upcoming. To return to the previous layout at any time, select Switch to the old experience in the user menu.
-
Top priority: Items that need your attention now, such as overdue tasks. Each item lists its name, its due status, and its matter. Overdue items list how many days late they are.
- Tasks that became overdue within the last 72 hours.
- Tasks due today.
- Tasks with High priority due within the next five days.
- Calendar events that start within the next two hours.
- Automation steps waiting on your input.
-
Upcoming: Items coming up next.
- Tasks due tomorrow.
- Calendar events later today and later this week.
Tip: Reviewing overdue items at the start of each day supports deadline control, a core part of managing professional liability risk.
Complete a priority
- Go to Today > Priorities.
- Under Top priority, find the item.
- Click Mark complete.
Open the matter for a priority
- Go to Today > Priorities.
- Under the item, click the matter name.
Refresh your priorities
- Go to Today > Priorities.
- Click Last update.
Review your tasks
The Your tasks tab lists the tasks assigned to you. To review them, go to Today > Your tasks. For the full task table, including tasks assigned to others in your firm, go to Manage > All tasks.
To add a task from any page, click the tasks icon in the header, then click Add. To open the full task table from the same menu, click View all tasks.
Monitor alerts
The Alerts tab in the right panel lists alerts about your matters, such as a low trust fund balance. Each alert names the matter it relates to.
- Go to Today > Alerts.
- Click the matter name on an alert, and open the matter.
Track firm activity in Firm Feed
The Firm Feed tab in the right panel records account activity and events for the firm, such as creating matters and contacts, recording payments, updating bills, creating, editing, and deleting time and expense entries, changing user permissions, and uploading documents. To open it, go to Today > Firm Feed.
Important: By default, only users with the Administrator role have access to the Firm Feed. To give other users access, create a custom role that includes the View account firm feed permission, and assign that role to them.
The Firm Feed records events in the following areas:
- Calendar
Calendar entries, entry types, and membership types.
- Tasks
Task types.
- Matter
Bills, matter stages, trust requests, notes, permissions, and protected funds.
- Contacts
People, companies, contact notes, client bills, and trust requests.
- Clio for Co-Counsel

- Time and expenses

- Exports
A log of matter list, contact list, and activity list exports. Exports from the Admin Export Page are excluded from the Firm Feed.
- Bills
Payments and interest.
- Online payments
Merchant account mapping and Clio Payments.
- Accounts

- Communication

- Documents

- Settings

- Personal injury
